Incoming 1st Grade Children for 2021/2022 School Year
June 2021
Dear Families,
Your child has worked so incredibly hard this year! We all want your child to KEEP that knowledge so that when September is here, your child is ready for first grade! Did you know that children lose an average of 2 months of learning if they do not read/practice skills during the summer months? Scary, right? We don’t want that to happen.
Please make sure your child uses www.IXL.com and www.Raz-Kids.com every day. Also, make sure your child practices the words in their flip books, letters and sounds, addition and subtraction facts, and sight words.
Enjoy and have a great summer!
