Here we are sending you some suggestions for summer activities to prepare your children for success in kindergarten. Have a great summer!
- Set aside a time to read with your child each day
- Have your child retell a simple story back to you after listening to a story.
- Recognize and identify words or signs (environmental print) your child sees often.
- Practice recognizing, writing, and naming the letters.
- Language development: Take time to listen and talk with your child. A good time for conversation is while traveling, at mealtime, and at bedtime.
- Involve your child in activities and games that require listening and following directions.
- Read and tell stories that have interesting characters
- Talk to your child about the story

Kindergarten School Supplies for 2021/2022
Dear Families,
We are so excited to get to know your children in September. We would appreciate it if you could take some time this summer to prepare the following supplies for your child. Please follow the schedule below when sending in their supplies. We do not want the children to carry everything at once because it is too heavy!
Please send in on Monday, September 13:
1 Backpack - Big enough to fit folders and books ( no wheels )
1 box of Sharpened Pencils
1 Zippered pencil case
1 pack of white erasers
1 box of Crayola Crayons
2 Notebooks (Primary Lines)
5 Plastic Folders (red, yellow, orange, green, blue)
3 Large Glue Sticks
1 package of Dry Erase Markers / Dry Eraser
Please send in on Wednesday, September 15:
1 Ream of white Copy Paper
3 packages of Baby wipes
3 containers Clorox wipes
A Box of GALLON size ZipLock Bags
Please send in on Friday, September 17:
3 Paper Towels
3 Boxes of Tissue
Bottle of hand soap
2 Bottles of Hand Sanitizer
( Please make sure that your child has Face Masks in their backpack on a daily basis )
